Products with IoT Module

Products with GSM Module

GSM Modules (Global System for Mobile Communication) are one of the commonly used communication modules in the embedded systems. A GSM Module is used to enable communication between a microcontroller / microprocessor and the GSM Network. A GSM Module is typically an IC or chip that connects to the GSM Network using a SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) and Radio Waves. The common radio frequencies in which a GSM Module operates are 850MHz, 900MHz, 1800MHz and 1900MHz.

A GSM module assembles a GSM modem with standard communication interfaces like RS-232 (Serial Port), USB etc., so that it can be easily interface with any computer or a microprocessor / microcontroller based system. Using a suitable adaptor the power supply circuit is also built in the module which is must for activating the process. GSM Modules allow microcontrollers to have a wireless communication with other devices and instruments.

Embedded Controller with RTOS

The Real Time Operating System (RTOS) as the name suggests, is an operating system (OS) for real time applications which processes data and events that have critically defined time constraints. RTOSes shall be divided into two as soft real time and hard real time systems. Soft real time systems operate within a few hundred milliseconds while Hard real time system’s responses are within tens of milliseconds or less.

Usually, RTOSes provide multitasking, process thread prioritization and a sufficient number of interrupt levels. RTOSes are commonly included devices such as air traffic control systems, anti-lock brakes and air bags, medical systems, cameras, computers, etc. The main advantages of RTOS are High performance, Safety and security and Priority-based scheduling.
